Hours after  Barack Obama accused Russia of sending troops into Ukraine and fuelling an escalation in the battle , and as the government in Kiev indicated that it wanted to join  Nato , Putin retorted that the Ukrainian army was the real villain, targeting residential areas of towns and cities as German troops had done in the former Soviet Union. He added that Russians and Ukrainians "are practically one people", reprising a theme of an earlier statement in which he referred to the disputed areas of south-eastern Ukraine as Novorossiya, harking back to tsarist times, when the area was ruled from Moscow. Women who join the terrorist group are encouraged to 'serve Islam' by providing domesticity for jihadists. Intelligence sources say they believe women from Malaysia have travelled to the Middle East to take part in Jihad al-Nikah, or sexual jihad. Following the controversial 2013 Wahhabi edict commanding Sunni women to offer their bodies to soldiers fighting Bashar al-Assad’s regime, it is believed that at least three Malaysian women have joined the ISIS terrorists currently cutting a bloody swathe through Syria and Iraq. ISIS has been known to use the Internet to recruit women to it’s cause, using slick marketing techniques to imply that there is no holier calling than to migrate and birth new fighters. Women who join are encouraged to provide domesticity for jihadists, and in doing so, serve Islam. Researchers in West Africa have discovered "over 250 mutations" of Ebola spreading through West Africa. NPR reports  that "the lead author" of research on the virus is Harvard computational biologist Pardis Sabeti. She says that "the virus is rapidly accumulating new mutations as it spreads through people." This means "over 250 ... mutations are changing in real time." The data gathered by Sabeti "also indicate that the outbreak started when just one person caught Ebola from an animal." Thereafter, the virus spread "through human-to-human transmission-- not  through humans eating infected bush meat (wild game) as was first thought." Columbia University's Stephen Morse is "not surprised the virus is mutating so rapidly."
