A man in China covered himself with 1.1 million bees while wearing just his underwear  to set a new Guinness World Record – and was stung 2,000 times for his efforts.  Gao Bingguo, a 55-year-old beekeeper in Tai'an City in the eastern Shandong province started the challenge and was assisted by fellow beekeepers who dumped a large ball of bees on him from hives.They also attached dozens of queen bees to Bingguo to make sure the bees would be attracted to his body. When the work was all done, the bees swarming Bingguo weighed 240 pounds, according to ABC News . The previous record (who knew?) was set by beekeeper Zhang Wei from the northwest province of Shaanxi in China, which was 184 pounds. Judge Luo Xing told Sky News that Bingguo broke the record after the bees swarmed on him for about an hour. "After we checked and searched database, and witnessed it at scene, we announce, Mr. Gao Bingguo successfully breaks the record," said Xing. The bees stung Bingguo 2,

The American woman who was killed when a lion leapt through a window and into a car in a South African nature park has been identified as Katherine Chappell, a 29-year-old visual effects editor who had travelled to the country to volunteer as a wildlife conservationist. Chappell was killed at The Lion Park, Johannesburg, when travelling through the park’s terrain in a car. She was attacked and killed by the lioness when it jumped through her window, leaving one other passenger hospitalised with serious injuries.
