  The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Akinwunmi Ambode, defeated the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Jimi Agbaje at the polling unit of former Vice-Chairman of PDP in Southwest, Chief Bode George.  APC had 137 votes while PDP recorded 87 votes in the governorship election.
